Amanda Clark is a Graphic Designer and Journalist living in the Hudson Valley region of New York. As a recent graduate of The State University of New York at New Paltz, Amanda has completed a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Journalism. 
Starting at an early age, Amanda had a passion for creating and sharing her art with everyone around her. While attending Bethlehem Central High School, Amanda began creating logo designs for local small businesses and fundraising events. Amanda created multiple designs for t-shirts that were used for races such as the Ice Breaker Challenge 5K run. Over the span of her years in high school and college, Amanda has been involved in several art organizations including: National Art Honor Society, Art Alliance, and Design Society. 
During her college years, Amanda took courses including: Basic Graphic Design, Visible Systems, Typography, Type and Image, Printed Books, Visual Language, Design Research, Design for the Web, Design Theory and Criticism, Graphic Design Thesis, Basic Digital Photography, Drawing: Visual Thinking I, Drawing: Visual Thinking II, Design: Color, Design: Form, and Art Seminar. Amanda has also taken Journalism courses including: Basic Journalism, Media Ethics, Composition, and Feature Writing. 
Amanda is currently working for Hudson Valley magazine in the editorial department. She hopes to continue growing as a graphic designer in the publication design industry where she can put forth both her design and journalism backgrounds.
